Dr. Victoria Martin,
M.D. has been in private practice in the Dallas,
Ft. Worth area since 1989.
She has also been co-founder and
vice president of Southwest Child and Family Associates; Medical Director of the
Excel Center; Medical Director of New Day Hospital; Psychiatric Consultant for Dallas County Mental Health/Mental
Retardation, Highland Park Presbyterian Church and Our Friend's Place.
She has lectured extensively at
seminars and others functions in the area and been a featured guest many times
on local radio stations. Also, several of her articles have appeared in
international publications such as World News and Focus on the Family.
Dr. Martin is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
in Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry, which puts her in the top-tier of her
field. She earned her doctorate from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio;
graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington; and is a
graduate of Lake Highlands High School.
 Dr. Victoria Martin and husband Glen Martin believe in family-first and have 6 children (all grown).
They have 4 dogs and
2 parrots; attend church at Skillman Church of Christ; love to travel, read, watch action-adventure movies and play a computer game called "Civilization".
Glen was the afternoon radio announcer at KLUV (98.7) until the mid-90's. He is now Dr. Martin's office manager. Their nephew Daniel
also works in the office now while going to school and trying to become a rock star. The Martin's youngest son, John is studying
to be a studio recording engineer. Everyone hopes Daniel will get in a band that becomes as big as the Beatles were and John will
record all there albums...
